Product Description
321 stainless steel is a heat-resistant steel alloy that contains nickel, chromium, and titanium. It has excellent wear resistance in organic and inorganic acids at various concentrations and temperatures, especially in oxidizing environments. This makes it ideal for fabricating acid resistant vessels, equipment linings and piping.
The presence of titanium in 321 stainless steel enhances its corrosion resistance and increases its strength at high temperatures, while also inhibiting the formation of chromium carbides. It exhibits excellent performance in high temperature stress rupture and creep resistance, surpassing 304 stainless steel. Therefore, it is ideal for soldering components used in high temperature applications.
